Tuesday 2nd July 2024

Nyenges and Shaigi Wayinkya,

Dear Sangha, Devotees, Friends & Worldwide Truthseekers,

Following the incarceration of the most revered Mahasambodhi Dharmasangha Guru on the 9th January 2024, Guru was unfathomably convicted of sexual assault of a minor in the local Sarlahi District Court on the 24th June 2024, despite there being no evidence and no legal grounds for a case. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the 1st July 2024.

Bodhi Shrawan Dharma Sangha New Zealand strongly objects to this heinous injustice, which is the most recent in the myriad continued persecutions of the Great Paramatma Guru over many years.

We peacefully demand a prompt, impartial and thorough investigation into the continued persecution of Mahasambodhi Dharmasangha Guru in Nepal. And to release Him immediately and unconditionally, quashing His wrongful conviction.

We urge the Nepal Government to take all necessary measures not only to investigate the ongoing persecution, but to release Dharmasangha Guru and to protect Him fully in the future – as well as His robed disciples, and also His sacred meditation forests of Halkhoriya and Ratanpur.

Dharmasangha Guru has endured countless years of suffering & sacrifice in tapas meditation, without food or water, for the benefit of all beings. He is a Treasure for the whole world Who must be protected, not persecuted.

We sincerely and earnestly appeal to all worldwide sanghas, devotees, followers and Truthseekers to unite against this continued persecution and to stand up for justice, for the infinite benefit of all beings.

Shaigi Wayinkya,

Gerry & Marty Donnelly
